Summertime Shade

This one is a bit later in the year for the seven singing birds!

Springtime Song

I had done this years ago and decided to do it again, but with a variation. This is a Springtime song.

Daisies

These three daisies are framed together in one tall frame. They look great together. Each small painting is only 5.5" x 7.5" but make a lovely framed piece at 11" x 30".

I took it to the Helena May bazaar and it had lots of comments from the visitors.

Caysie in the garden....

I don't really have a garden, just a few potted plants sitting out on the balcony. Caysie has found some interest out there. She likes to chew on the few blades of grass she can find in the pots. We live so high up, it's hard to believe that grass is growing up here! I guess between the wind and the birds, grass grows everywhere!

It took awhile to finally capture a cute photo of her. She rarely sits still except when she's sleeping. Every time I go for the camera, she moves. That rascal!

Magnolia on green

Here's another of the series of flowers on the green paper. It is hanging in my living room now along side a branch of plum blossoms on green. They are both on scrolls to give them that added Asian touch!

White Mums

This one I had put on a scroll, which makes it a bit harder to photograph. I had a good play with the background on this one. It is layer upon layer of color.

Sunflower on the edge

My instructor did not like this one. She really wanted me to center the flower on the page. I enjoyed playing with a portion of it. I plan on making a series of this one. Maybe I will play with size and a variety of portions.
The framer had a good time with this one. I wasn't really convinced with the way he wanted to frame it but I went ahead with his choice. It's growing on me! I hope you enjoy it!

Bright Bloom

I thought I would try my hand on the purple paper I like so much. I like how the colors seem so intense.
